Ingredients:
- 4 cups puffed rice
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup finely chopped cucumber
- 1 cup boiled and cubed potatoes
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
- 2 tablespoons green chutney
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: Sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles)
- Finely chopped green chillies
- Sliced lemon for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumber, boiled potatoes, roasted peanuts, and coriander leaves.
- Add tamarind chutney and green chutney to the mixture. Start with smaller amounts and adjust according to your taste preferences.
- Sprinkle chaat masala and salt over the mixture. Toss everything together gently to ensure an even coating.
- Taste the Churmuri and adjust the seasonings or chutney quantities as needed.
- Serve the Churmuri immediately in bowls or plates.
- If desired, you can add additional toppings like sev, finely chopped green chillies, and a squeeze of lemon juice on top for added flavour.
